Chappal Kebabs





Ingredients:


Half kg : Minced lamb
1 large : Onion
2 tsp : Crushed red chillies
4 large : Green chillies
1 tsp : Salt
2 tbsp : Gram flour
1 medium : Egg
Half bunch : Crushed fresh coriander
1tbsp : Crushed dry coriander
1tbsp : Crushed dry cumin seeds
1tsp : Pomegranate powder







Directions:


Crush onion and green chillies in the chopper. Mix the mixture of green chillies and onion, with minced lamb, crushed red chillies, salt, egg, gram flour, crushed dry coriander, crushed dry cumin seeds, pomegranate powder. Try to do all the mixing with hands.




To make of kebab shapes quickly




You need :

  • Large plastic food bag
  • one bowl water
  • one flat bottom plate
Method : 
You can make round/flat kebabs with your hands but as the mixture sticks with hands so the kebab shape is not perfect. Hence use a plastic food bag, cut its sides. Sprinkle some water and place one kebab mixture (sphere shape) between the two sides of the plastic on a flat surface. Use the flat bottom plate to press the sphere, which will give it a nice round/flat shape. It's very easy to pick it now and Put it on a hot non-stick pan with very little oil. Serve with mint chutney.
